Peter Payard
Rank 3rd Dan (black belt)
Licenced Instructor Yes

Title Branch Instructor

Profile

Peter Payard began his Taekwondo studies many years ago under the guidance of Master Hicks at the Bellbird centre in the NSW Hunter Valley. After 3 years training Peter then took a break from training and it was during this time that he married and started a family. In early 2001 Peter decided to resume his training as he believed it was the perfect activity he could do with his young son.

In March 2002 Peter was promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt and it was then he realised that what he really wanted to do was teach the art of Shim Jang Taekwondo to the local people in his home town of Mulbring in the NSW Hunter Valley area. Peter then set about gaining as much knowledge as he could before officially making application to become a Branch Instructor with the organisation.

For the next 2 years Peter trained regularly with Assistant Master Instructor Steven Turner and the other Senior Instructors within his local area, in October 2004 while attending an Instructors Seminar with Master Hicks at the W.S.T.A’s National Training Camp on QLD’s Gold Coast Peter was officially certified as an Instructor with the World Shim Jang Taekwondo Academy. Peter was then officially appointed as the Branch Instructor in charge of the establishment and future management of the “Mulbring” Centre.

There is no doubt that Peters continuous desire to learn and his dedication to the art of Shim Jang Taekwondo will ensure his future success within this fantastic art.
