Profile: Instructor James Vaughan has been participating in Taekwondo for over 15 years beginning back in the mid 2000's. In 2008 Instructor James was promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt after training in multiple styles of Taekwondo in the Coffs Harbour region. While training in Coffs Harbour he was also exposed to hapkido, hema and an assortment of training weapons including bo-staffs, bokkens, knifes, etc

After moving to Brisbane, James started his journey with Shim Jang Taekwondo and is currently the branch instructor for the Middle Park Centre. Prior to this James has been acting as the Assistant Branch instructor under Regional Advisor Matthew at the Marsden Centre.

Instructor James, outside of Shim Jang works as a Platform Operations Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer for a Global Retail Media Ecommerce Platform
