Shimjang Taekwondo takes all measures to secure your privacy with what information we collect, use and share. However, information you provide to us is entirely at your own risk.

Shimjang.com.au has gone to great lengths to provide great security to our customers. Our website uses professional Payment Gateway services for all online credit card transactions. All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
Our professional Payment Gateway holds the highest level of payment security, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) Level 1. This means all customer and credit card data is safeguarded with the highest level of encryption available. Also, to mitigate the risk of financial loss and damaged reputation from fraudulent activity.
Orders are generally despatched within 1-3 business days of receipt, via the local branch instructor where possible as they may hold some stock to enable a speedier delivery. Delivery times may vary due to courier availability and locations.
If for any reason, we cannot immediately supply you with a product you have ordered, we will let you know and provide you with options to amend exchange or cancel & refund.
Returns are acceptable from 21 days of purchase. The customer is responsible for the return of the item in undamaged, unsoiled and original condition. We recommend that you send the return via registered post, to avoid any loss in transit issues. The customer must pay for the costs of the return and if applicable the re-delivery of the item.
Any product purchased from Shimjang Taekwondo that has a major fault or defect, a full refund including the shipping charges will be issued to you through the same way that the payment was received by us. All claims must be made within the guideline period.

Where possible, please return to us via your branch instructor. Please inform us via the Contact Us tab of your pending return so that we can liaise with you and provide the best possible solution. You should include your invoice number, date of purchase, and reason for return.
All return shipping costs are payable by the customer unless otherwise specified by our office. We recommend using Australia Post and obtaining a tracking number when sending anything back. If you require an exchange for another product please also included a return paid satchel pre-completed by you to streamline the process of exchanges. If you require an exchange for an item due to sizing or change of mind, you will need to return the original purchase to your instructor and apply for a refund per our policy and order the correct size/item replacement online.
Once your item has been received and a refund is requested, we will refund you the purchase cost of the item by the same method of which you have originally paid us, this will be done within a 48-72hr time frame. Postage and handling is non refundable. Always provide a proof of purchase when returning any item.
Refund or replacement may only take place once an item is declared ‘lost in transit’ in accordance with our courier’s guidelines. Items will only be declared ‘lost in transit’ if the item cannot be located 25 working days after dispatch.
If products are damaged from transit, we apologise for this and will require you to complete a Contact Us form with your order number, full name, address and issue. We will then be in contact to assess and assist with repairs/replacement and will send instructions on forwarding photos.
